"MEXICO! DON'T DRINK THE WATER?! MEXICO!"
Have you ever visited Mexico? Mexico is one of the largest and most visited country in the world. One beautiful place located in Mexico is a pink body of water. The place is Yucatan Mexico where the lake is PINK! Yes, pink lakes! One of the only pink waters in the world! The lake is a man-made creation, it is owned by a private salt production company as stated in
How To Visit the Pink Lakes of Las Coloradas, Mexico (ourescapeclause.com). The lake is actually dyed pink and any sea creature that lives in the lake such as shrimp and red algae get their color from the lake. One last thing about these beautiful lakes and that no swimming is allowed! Since the water is so shallow it is pretty much impossible to swim in.
Another cool place to visit in Mexico is Monarch butterfly biosphere reserve. This where butterflies migrate to during the months of October - March according to Reserva de la Biósfera Santuario Mariposa Monarca | Inland Michoacán, Mexico | Attractions - Lonely Planet. The views are absolutely breath-taking about one million butterflies travel from across the country and it takes about 8 months for these little critters to get to this destination.
